​Catalina is a home-raised mare out of one of the greatest mares our breeding program has ever known; Rugged Ashley by Rugged Lark. We kept back three fillies out of Rugged Ashley. Catalina may be the most dramatically beautiful of them with her great length and set of neck with the pretty face to finish it off. At 37.5% TB blood, this mare sports all kinds of class and appeal in her body, and she has that unmistakably quiet nature from both her sire Silver Assured and that known to come through the Rugged Larks. Catalina is Appendix registered and will have her first foal in 2025.
